The Kitchen Garden

The kitchen garden with a small path through the vegetable beds towards some more vegetable beds.

Our south-facing kitchen garden, originally established in Victorian times and reinstated in more recent years, features tiered sections, all enclosed with Yorkshire stone walls.

The Kitchen Garden at The Devonshire Arms Hotel

The kitchen team sources fresh seasonal produce from a variety of wildflowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables grown in our garden. This not only meets the kitchen’s needs but also provides a lovely space for guests to enjoy. Visitors are encouraged to admire the garden and can find plenty of seating to relax or have a picnic when the weather is nice.
